María Ruiz Ortega (ESR11) joined the network at the beginning of June and is working with Thierry Mora and Aleksandra Walczak at CNRS. There are now 12 ESRs with the network -- the remaining 3 are expected to start before the next training event which will take place in Leeds from 16-20 September 2019.
We welcome a new fellow to the network: Carina Bruckmaier (ESR7) started on 1.5.19 at UMC Utrecht, and is working under the supervision of José Borghans. More information on all the fellows can be found in the ESR profiles page.
The QuanTII inaugural meeting took place at the Hamilton Institute, Maynooth University, from 13-17 May 2019 and was very successful. It allowed the fellows and partners to meet each other for the first time, and consisted of training, presentations by the ESRs, and a public lecture by José Borghans.
A public lecture in memory of Robin Callard and Bruno Kyewski will be given by José Borghans on the Monday afternoon of the inaugural meeting. More information can be found on the events page.
There are now 10 fellows with the network, as 4 new fellows have recently started - Elena de Dios Panal, Flavia Feliciangelia, Noor Kherreh and Erdem Şanal.
Four more fellows have joined the network: Giulia Belluccini, HoChan Cheon, Laura Mora Bitria and Lea Sta.
The inaugural meeting of the QuanTII network is confirmed for 13-17 May 2019, and will be held at Maynooth University, Ireland.
We welcome two fellows to the network – Alessandro Greco and Daniel Luque Duque. More fellows are due to start in the new year.
The network started on 1 September 2018 and will run for 4 years. Recruitment for the early stage researchers has started. The first network meeting will take place at NUI Maynooth next May.
