Short description of my project
The persistence of antigen leads T cell to a dysfunctional state, called exhaustion. The aim of this project is to develop novel stochastic mathematical models of T cell exhaustion. This topic is also relevant for immuno-therapies, such as PD-1 check-point inhibitor therapies, which are being used to treat cancer or chronic infection.
