Extension of the network
At the beginning of March, the EU approved a 12-month extension of the project - it will now finish in August 2023.
The extension was requested because of the disruption caused by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic to QuanTII ESRs, their research groups and academic institutions.
The extension will allow all QuanTII ESRs more time to carry out their planned research and training objectives. This includes being able to carry out appropriate and suitable interdisciplinary and intersectoral secondments, as well as research visits in a face-to-face manner, attend training events in person, and most importantly complete their research projects to guarantee a successful PhD defence. In addition to this, all ESRs will be able to complete the planned outreach activities that are essential to the communication and dissemination goals of QuanTII.
